Graduate Student, Theology
About
Erin Kidd is a second-year PhD student at Marquette University in Theology & Society, an inter-disciplinary track that allows her to pursue research in theology, philosophy, and critical theory.
She received her BA from Gordon College with majors in Philosophy and Biblical Studies, and her MTS in History of Christianity from the University of Notre Dame. Before beginning her doctoral studies, she taught philosophy and religion at a high school in northwest Indiana.
Erin is interested in theological method, particularly from a feminist standpoint. Recently, her research has focused on the connection between God-talk and embodiment.
She is a co-founder and contributer to WIT, a blog written exclusively by women from an ecumenical and anti-kyriarchal Christian theological perspective.
